  • Do you come to the home/office?
    • Unless otherwise requested, we go the client’s home/office.

  • How often do we have appointments?
    • The frequency of the appointment depends on the client’s needs.

  • Can I send my mail to your office and you write my checks?
    • Yes. The mail is sent to a client specific post office box.
    • Checks can be presented to the client or POA for signature or the PPS President can assume check signing POA.

  • Can you put together my tax information?
    • Our income tax services are multi-faceted.
      • For the first time client, we request a copy of the prior year tax return and the current year tax planner.
      • This is the PPS Process:
        • We accumulate and organize W2 and 1099 forms, etc.
        • If documents are missing, we will obtain them from the financial institution
        • For ongoing clients, Quicken is used throughout the year to capture income and expenses related to the preparation of income tax returns and to insure that client records are accurate and reconciled.
        • The package of information is scanned for backup purposes.
        • The CPA/ tax preparer and PPS maintain constant communication throughout the year as well as for income tax reporting.

  • How long do I have to keep my important papers?
    • We have the IRS retention schedule to guide the client on the retention of documents.

  • How can you keep track of my expenses?
    • We record various income and expenses in Quicken.

  • Do you process household payroll?
    • We manage the issuance and collection of time sheets.
    • We engage a payroll processing service to process time sheets, to file tax deductions and withholding information to the State tax authorities and to generate W2’s and 1099’s.

  • Can you arrange for appraisals of my artwork?
    • Yes. We work with professionals to prepare appraisal report(s).

  • Can you help us with medical and property insurance? 
    • Yes, we can review your insurance policies with your insurance broker as well as research medical insurance that will best suit your needs.

  • Are the employees bonded?
    • Per the insurance professionals, bonding is not appropriate for our services. We are insured with a Professional Liability Insurance.

  • Do you check employees financial background?
    • All employees, prior to employment, complete documents for a criminal and credit check by an investigation firm.
    • In addition, all client information is confidential and maintained in a secure environment.
